Faulkner hopes to re-ignite career in series against India

Having lost out his place in the Australian national side for the Champions Trophy that was held earlier this year, James Faulkner is set to make a come back during their five-match ODI series in India starting on Sunday.

Faulkner believes that he has put the break to good effect, having worked on his fitness and pace in his home-town of Tasmania.

Windies play Ireland in one-off ODI

Ahead of their only T20 and five-match ODI series against England, West Indies play a one-off ODI against Ireland on Wednesday.

With Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels returning to the squad following lengthy disputes with their board, the Windies will be hoping for positive performances to ensure qualification for the next World Cup.


West Ham break duck in EPL

Following three away defeats to start the new Premier League season, West Ham manager Slaven Bilic was under pressure to produce a result on his birthday.

Goals from Pedro Obiang and Andre Ayew in the final 18 minutes, however, eased the pressure on him and ensured that they won the game against Huddersfield 2-0.
